Is it possible to spend an entire week with relatives, and not leave feeling utterly inadequate?

No title

My course at TIFR is finally over. Had my thesis defense last Monday. I passed! So did everyone else! yay!

Our juniors gave us Tees, with captions and images specific to each of us. Not surprisingly, mine has an image of Olive Oyl. Still. It's cute.

It says "I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent" :D

Thanks, y'all!

Coming back to TIFR. The prospect of leaving TIFR isn't exciting me as much as I expected it to. The institute is a wonderful place to spend time if you don't have deadlines. Or other places to be.

*sheds a tear*
Anyway, I hopped on to a much delayed flight to Bangalore on Saturday morning, and I will be here till the end of the week. Two first cousins were getting engaged on the same evening, and are getting married on consecutive days in November. I won't be there for those, so I thought I should at least drag my ass here for the engagements. T'was fun! I could only attend only one of those, of course, but the rest of the week exists solely to catch up with relatives who attended the other engagement.
I think I've visited more ppl on a single day than ever before- visited six homes yesterday- and there are still a few more lined up! *phew*

Still have to get back to tifr and print out my thesis. :(
