Hey Kate...Whats up? :) When I read this strip today morning, I realized that saying 'fine' when your advisor/boss asks u about your project is such an involuntary lie (well...lie for me most times). Everybody seems to do it!!!!
On a related topic and I say this here cuz I found Scott Adam's blog through yours...have you been reading his entries/discussions offlate? I find that he has become unbearably condescending, full of false modesty and extremely unaccomodating of other's views for a while now. It was fun when he stuck to a serious post only on sundays! Nowadays it has gotten too dull for my liking!
Yes, I find that as long as I meet my guide as per the (somewhat strictly) stipulated once-every-week schedule (on pain of an XX), I can get away with almost anything, including "I've been too lazy to work this week".
By the way, shady woman, when am I to ever treat you?
