Warning: most of you folks wont understand much in this post..

I know, I know..been ages since I updated..but the last two weeks have been super hectic. Just been running around to get my PhD applications done.
S.O.P.s are so unbelievably boring. Can't believe I've written six already! four more to go..
DHL is totally burning a hole in my pocket. Make that my dad's pocket. I have like, no money. :(

Remember this? Well, I attended it this time too, and surprise, surprise, no broken bones. I actually had a very good time. And I had beer this time round. Which means I also danced. No furthur elaboration required on that issue. :)

Post party I had even more fun. Pfaffed at the seaface for a bit, where one of my friends suddenly started talking about the B-52s at Leo's, and we all had this strange urge to go and get some. Unfortunately it was already one. Leo's was probably shut, but my friend wouldn't take no for an answer. We walked to the gate, when I suggested that we should call and find out before jumping into a cab. She called and this is exactly how the conversation transpired.
"Hi, is this Leo's? Till what time are you open? Can I come with a couple of friends? Can we have only one B-52 each? Please? Please? Shucks."

The rest of us were guffawing by then. The poor thing.

Not to be dismissed so easily, I had a plan (yes, a cunning one) and we soon made our way to the lab to pick up a bottle of vodka left behind by a senior. Who needs plasmids? This is the kind of inheritance we juniors cherish..:)

Loud music, lime squash and cold water (for me) were all we needed to find, and we just about managed to do so. I (wisely, I suppose) decided to stay away from any more alcohol after the party. Three hours later, we were back at the terrace, only this time it was dark, and quiet as hell.
We hung out there for a bit, occasionally whistled at/called out to the watchmen, who were obviously puzzled about the source of the sounds. Cartwheels, animated discussions on fictional constellations and some good ol' batchmate bonding happened, after which we finally decided to call it a night at around five. Ah, the good life. I had forgotten what it was like to be a student.

December is almost here, and I'm excited!! Tidu, Diamond and Inu will all be here, though I'm not sure how much time I will have to spare. I've just been roped in to do loads of random stuff for this, such as proofreading the abstract book. Still.
Lotsa fun events to look forward to...My department reunion at Xaviers, and Mood Indigo...can't believe I still feel like going back to IIT. But Sod may perform at Livewire, and I can't miss that ! :)
After all, I was once a Tommy Mucous groupie (or so I was told).

It was my dad's birthday yesterday. Remember the generous brother. Well, he gifted my dad this. Want a snazzy phone as a birthday gift? Befriend my brother NOW. :)
